Achievements of Dr. Nobakht visit to Isfahan province

Dr. Mohammad Baqer Nobakht, the Head of the State Plan and Budget Organization, arrived in Isfahan province on Wednesday evening, May 26, in continuation of his provincial trips.

In July of last year, the Vice President and Head of the State Plan and Budget Organization paid a three-day visit to Isfahan province, during which special funds were allocated to complete and start the implementation of a number of development and infrastructure projects, especially in the housing, transportation and water sectors. He found that during his trip in May of this year, a number of these projects were inaugurated and the progress of some of them was also visited.

Inauguration of 2200 housing units for the deprived in Isfahan

One of the most important of these plans is to provide housing for the deprived people under the auspices of the Imam Khomeini Relief Committee and the Housing Foundation of the Islamic Revolution. The head of the Plan and Budget Organization said at the ceremony of donating the keys to the owners: The construction of more than 120,000 housing units for the deprived throughout the country began last year, added: "Half of these units were handed over to applicants and the entire commitment will be fulfilled by the end of the twelfth government."

Inauguration of multi-purpose Velayat Sport Stadium of Isfahan University

The multi-purpose sports hall of the University of Isfahan Stadium with an area of 7,000 square meters was also inaugurated during Dr. Nobakht's visit to this city on Thursday.

This stadium is one of the approvals of the visit of the Supreme Leader of the Revolution to Isfahan in 2002, the executive operation and design of which began in 2003, and the following year, its concrete structure was constructed.

The construction of this building was stopped for 13 years after about 20% progress, and in 2017, with the approval of the head of the State Plan and Budget Organization, the implementation process was resumed.

 

This multi-purpose gym includes the main hall of about 3,500 square meters and the side hall includes ping pong, gym, bowling, shooting, billiards and service and common areas.

The Vice President said at the inauguration ceremony of this gymnasium: considering that the first brick of the provincial stadium of this university was built with the special credit of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution during his visit to Isfahan, it is necessary to complete this stadium as soon as possible.

Allocation of 545 billion tomans of credit to complete the projects

The inauguration of the building of the Management and Planning Organization of the province was another program of Dr. Nobakht's trip to Isfahan. At the opening ceremony, he announced the allocation of 545 billion Tomans to complete the semi-finished projects of the province and said: 225 billion Tomans was for the East bypass project.

At the inauguration ceremony of the building of the Management and Planning Organization of the province, the Vice President emphasized: The Planning and Budget Organization of the country has not forgotten the issue of employees' livelihood and has proposed and solved the increase of salaries and adjustment of salaries of military and national pensioners.

The head of the State's Plan and Budget Organization said: "The national planning document and the preparation of provincial documents are among the most important actions of the Center for Development and Foresight Research, which includes 50 years of demands and has now reached the final stage.

He stated that in the planning document, the country's plans are defined in the horizon of 2045, and said: this document has considered a separate design for all the provinces of the country.

The plan of the second water supply system to Isfahan

Another program of the Vice President's visit to Isfahan was to visit the second water supply system of Isfahan.

The project of the second water supply system of Isfahan with the aim of supplying water to 14 cities of Isfahan province (73 cities and 78 villages) with a length of 27 km is underway. Through this system, whose executive operation began in 2009, the water required by Greater Isfahan to be transferred and supplied.

Allocation of funds to complete the Isfahan-Baharestan metro project

Visiting Isfahan-Baharestan Metro was another program of the Vice President's visit to Isfahan; In the previous trip of Nobakht, 200 billion Tomans were allocated to complete this project and it is scheduled to be ready for delivery by the end of June.

Isfahan-Baharestan urban train project with a length of 14.7 km in the form of 9.5 km underground and 4.6 km above ground is underway; The executive operation of this project began in Feb. 2012.

The head of the Plan and Budget Organization, during his visit to this project, said: "We are ready to participate in this project until the end of the twelfth government, in order to complete the Isfahan-Baharestan urban train project, considering its high speed."

Allocation of 180 billion tomans to complete the east bypass of Isfahan

One of the most important achievements of the Vice President's visit to Isfahan was the allocation of 180 billion tomans of credit to complete the third section of the east bypass of Isfahan.

 The head of the Plan and Budget Organization, during his visit to this project, said: It has been decided that 180 billion Tomans will be allocated again to the third section of the East Isfahan bypass freeway project so that it will be ready for operation as quickly as the previous sections.
